Program faculty must hold a Bachelor's degree and have active Certified Medical Administratice Assistant certification.
The Medical Administrative Assistant Program consists of 354 clock hours of theory and activities. The program offers training in medical office management, legal, ethical, and regulatory concepts, and electronic health records training. It is designed to provide students a broad scope of knowledge and skills that make them ideal candidates for positions in any ambulatory care setting, medical practice, or hospital. Successful completion of the program will lead to eligibility to sit for the industry credential of Certified Medical Administrative Assistant.
