Qualifications of Instructors:
The program faculty have a minimum of 3 years of management experience in theCyberSecurity occupationand a minimum of 5 years of work experience. The instructors are familiar with and preferably certified in the same certifications as our Bootcamp Learners will be working towards.
Program Description:
Learners will be prepared to apply for an entry-level role in Cybersecurity and build a foundational understanding and knowledge in cybersecurity. They will learn the basics of networks, cybersecurity, and scripting languages through hands-on labs. This program will also prepare them for the CompTIA Security+ certificate, a well-recognized entry-level certificate in cybersecurity. For job seekers, the coaching includes job preparedness to identify a job, interviewing preparation, resume development, and building their network. The coaching is facilitated to prepare the job seeker/learners resume, and develop communication skills to effectively communicate and present their portfolio to their future employer.

11.1003 Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance A program that prepares individuals to assess the security needs of computer and network systems, recommend safeguard solutions, and manage the implementation and maintenance of security devices, systems, and procedures. Includes instruction in computer architecture, programming, and systems analysis; networking; telecommunications; cryptography; security system design; applicable law and regulations; risk assessment and policy analysis; contingency planning; user access issues; investigation techniques; and troubleshooting.

18 years of age or older except where a higher age is required by law. Must be employed to learn an apprenticeable occupation. Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. A two or four-year degree is preferred.
