The State of Indiana requires the instructor to hold a Nursing License. All instructors must pass criminal background checks.
This is a five week program licensed to prepare student to work as a Nursing Assistant. Two weeks of the training is held at Wagler Education and Training Center and three weeks are held hands-on training at Franklin Glenburn Home in Linton, Indiana. This partnership has been in effect over 5 years. Students will receive one set of scrubs, a gait belt, HIPAA Training, First Aid and CPR, and Career Readiness as well as State Nursing Curriculum. Partnership is in place with Ketchum Memorial Home as well.
Students must pass criminal and drug screens. Students must take the TABE Assessment and score a minimum of 517 in Math and 536 in Reading. Students must pass a Department of Child Services Check.
One week prior to class start date.
