Program Description:

Students will learn safety requirements meeting OSHA 10 requirements; Introduction to sealants; Sealant joint design, substrate preparation; Sealant application, failure and testing. The curriculum uses, with permission, the text, course information and testing provided by the International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades. Course content includes: Safety to meet OSHA 10 requirements, Introduction to Sealants, Sealant Joint Design and substrate preparation; Sealant Application, failure and testing. Upon completion, students will be qualified to apprentice with trade unions and independent contractors
