An instructor must be a certified MSSC CLT/CLA or CPTInstructor with current certification at the level he/she is teaching. To maintain MSSC Instructor certification, instructors must have Registration of Training Modules approved by MSSC before expiration (certification will be extended 3 years from the completion date on Registration of Training Modules). All instructors have 15 years or more of experience andare licensed in their trade.
The purpose of the Certified Production Technician (CPT) ® 4.0 certification program is to recognize through certification, individuals who demonstrate mastery of the foundational, core competencies of advanced manufacturing production at the entry-level to front-line supervisor through successful completion of the certification assessments. The goal of the CPT 4.0 certification program is to raise the level of performance of production technicians to help employers ensure their workforce increases the company’s productivity and competitiveness. This program is ideal for individuals with limited to no prior knowledge of manufacturing to begin a career pathway in the high skill, high wage, in demand manufacturing industry. The CPT 4.0 program consists of five individual production technician certificate assessments: Safety Quality Practices & Measurement Manufacturing Processes & Production Maintenance Awareness Green Production (Not part of Full CPT Certification) Candidates must earn the first four certificates to receive the full production technician (CPT 4.0) certification.This is a non-apprenticeship program model.
We strongly encourage that our participants are ready, willing, and able to join the workforce. We will assist with obtaining GED/HSE and work with participants that may have been justice-involved. We have an extensive resource network that may be engaged to ensure our participants receive the wrap-around and life skills that are needed to be successful.
