Our Bartender Basics Program is offered to Indiana residents only who are at least 21 years of age. Our Bartender Basics program is an accredited school and we are dedicated to providing bartender education , membership services and retail shop to our bartender community. Our class sessions times in our program are Tuesday-Thursday 6:30pm-9:30pm, Friday-Sunday 9am-12:30pm, 2-5:30pm and 6-9:30pm. The first and last week of the month we have no class sessions scheduled. Our students must book a class the 25th-1st of each month for the following months classes. After a student books, will receive appointment notifications and an email offering two Virtual School Orientation Sessions that all students MUST attend prior to class session. To receive bartender certification, student must attend all three days of their class session and participate in learning activities.Day one is education day, where students learn about the history of our business, history of the Alcohol Tobacco Commission, complete their employee permit application and Server training to learn about the laws associated with Bartending. The first day ends with a quiz on what they learned. Day Two is the Basics of Bartending, where students learn about the history of all alcohol types, examples, termonology, recipes for drinks and provided a demonstration on mixology techniques. Following this, particpants practice how to make cocktails and pour beer and wine. Last day is Moxology day, this day we review content from the previous two days, answer any questions and the remainder of class the participants are provided time to practice mixology techniques in stages. Ecah stage our instructors provide less promtping and ending with no prompting to assist the student. Students then are evaluated with a post test.
