Qualifications of Instructors:
The school director holds 6 different licenses and has been a massage therapist for over 15 years. She has owned and operated her own day spa in two different states and has worked for some of the most prestigious spas in the US. She has been a lead instructor and worked her way up to Assistant Director over 2 advanced curriculum schools and is now currently director of IAM. Our instructors come to us with 10-30 years of massage experience. Modalities of knowledge include:Thai, Myofascial, Pfrimmer, Trigger Point Therapy, Myopractic Massage, Neuromuscular, Rolfing, Structural Integration, Cranial Sacral, Shiatsu, Prenatal Infant Massage amoung many others that students will learn here. Indiana Academy of Massage is also state accredited through OCTS and Nationally Accredited through COMTA.

51.3501 Massage Therapy/Therapeutic Massage A program that prepares individuals to provide relief and improved health and well-being to clients through the application of manual techniques for manipulating skin, muscles, and connective tissues. Includes instruction in Western (Swedish) massage, sports massage, myotherapy/trigger point massage, myofascial release, deep tissue massage, cranio-sacral therapy, reflexology, massage safety and emergency management, client counseling, practice management, applicable regulations, and professional standards and ethics.
