Faculty have 15 to 30 years of experience in the construction industry.
The painting Laborer course teaches students the skills and knowledge related to residential and commercial painting. Throughout the training, the students will learn which paints are suitable for indoor and outdoor usage. Students will also gain knowledge of the tools and methods used forapplying indoor and outdoor painting, rigging and scaffolding used, city practices/policies/procedures, and knowledge of safety practices/procedures and so much more.
The applicants must be at least 18 years of age, should have good color vision and aesthetic instincts, attentive to detail, have physical strength, stamina, and dexterity; be familiarwith painting tools and materials time management skills to ensure tasks are completed onschedule.Good customer service, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
Classes are ongoing and no deadlines are assessed.
