Qualifications of Instructors:

Our instructors hold a Truck Driver Training School Instructor license, as approved by the state of Indiana. .

Program Description:

This program will prepare a student to succefully pass the Class A Commerical Driver's License test. The program is a total of 120 hours. Scheduling can vary base upon student availability. The progam will be hands on training with our Certified CDL Instructors. It will cover all of the topics needed from Pre Trip Inspection, to safely navigating Commercial Vehicles on the road. Premier Truck Driving School has a unique advantage. A CDL Testing facility is located next door to our training faciltiy. Students can schedule their CDL test with state accredited CDL Testing faciliy, and utlize Premier Truck Driving school vehicles. Please note, the student is responsible for CDL Testing fees.

49.0205 Truck and Bus Driver/Commercial Vehicle Operator and Instructor A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to drive trucks and buses, delivery vehicles, for-hire vehicles and other commercial vehicles, or to instruct commerical vehicle operators. Includes instruction in operating gas, diesel, or electrically-powered vehicles; loading and unloading cargo or passengers; reporting delays or accidents on the road; verifying load against shipping papers; arranging transportation for personnel; and keeping records of receipts and fares.

Prerequisites Description:

Full payment for the course will be required in order to enroll. A DOT regualated drug screen is required for enrollment. Valid driver's license, commerical learners permit, and DOT Medical Examiner's Certifcate are required.
