Instructors must have, at minimum, a two-year degree from a recognized institution or national accrediting body related to the topic they are assigned to teach, or at least two years of practical experience in the major area they are assigned to teach. In addition, they must hold the required certifications taught (CompTIA Network+ and Security+), as well as complete the Eleven Fifty Academy Training program. This ensures both technical competence and instructional skill to have a positive, impactful experience for students. Eleven Fifty Academy uses a team approach. Students receive support from their instructors, as well as theCareer Services Team who all specialize in a different aspect of the student experience.
During the Cybersecurity program, students will be learning skills for the CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certification exams. Through progression in the program, our goal is to assist students in growing their technical knowledge and skills as well as professionalism and teamwork. Upon graduation from the program, they have the skills needed to pursue a career in IT and Cybersecurity.
Students have until the Friday before the class starts to finalize their enrollment.
Eleven Fifty Academy Admissions Team works with several loan vendors as well as local entities to find all appropriate funding sources for students.
