Instructors are Licensed by the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles at bare minimum. Certain Instructors and Staff are Master Level and Senior Master Level Commercial Traininers Association Certified (CVTA).
Our Class-B designed for those students who wish to obtain a Class B CDL license for straight trucks, including delivery trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, waste trucks and concrete mixers. The program includes preparation for the CDL tests, and basic skills instruction completed in 40 hours.
49.0205 Truck and Bus Driver/Commercial Vehicle Operator and Instructor A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to drive trucks and buses, delivery vehicles, for-hire vehicles and other commercial vehicles, or to instruct commerical vehicle operators. Includes instruction in operating gas, diesel, or electrically-powered vehicles; loading and unloading cargo or passengers; reporting delays or accidents on the road; verifying load against shipping papers; arranging transportation for personnel; and keeping records of receipts and fares.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Potential Students will be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to pass a Federally Regulated Drug Screen and DOT Physical. Potential Student must have completed all exams needed for obtaining a Class-B Learners Permit from the BMV.
CDL Xpress Truck Driving School is a Open Enrollment School. We start classes every Monday. Ideally, paperwork is completed by Friday of the week prior to starting a Monday class.
