Our class is a two week, 80 hour program certified by the IndaiaBMV. The first week is classroom training learning rules, laws and regulations. The first week also includes permit training and pre-trip inspections. The second week is spent hands on learning how to operate and inspect a class B vehicle. Following the two weeks of training a student will be ready to take the state certified test with an approved 3rd party tester.
49.0205 Truck and Bus Driver/Commercial Vehicle Operator and Instructor A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to drive trucks and buses, delivery vehicles, for-hire vehicles and other commercial vehicles, or to instruct commerical vehicle operators. Includes instruction in operating gas, diesel, or electrically-powered vehicles; loading and unloading cargo or passengers; reporting delays or accidents on the road; verifying load against shipping papers; arranging transportation for personnel; and keeping records of receipts and fares.
Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and DOT Drug Screen. Must have a valid Drivers License.
There are no deadlines. We start a new class every Monday.
