Ready To Care Nurse Aide Instructors hold an active Indiana Registered Nurse or License Practical Nurse license. All instructors are certified through Indiana University School of Nursing Center for Professional Development and Lifelong Learning.
Ready To Care Nurse Aide Training program prepares individuals to perform routine nursing-related services to patients in hospitals or long-term care facilities, under the training and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Ready To Care Nurse Aide Training offers four week day and evening programs. Students will attend class every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am-1:30pm or 5pm-9:30pm. Clinicals begin the second week of class and are held on Saturday 7am-3:30pm and Sunday for three weeks from 7am-4:30pm.
Applicants must take and pass a basic literacy test and limited criminal screening. Applicants must not have any convictions of abuse or neglect of the dependent population.
