Bachelor of Science Nursing
The Nursing Program seeks to provide the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide direct care to a variety of individuals in settings consistent with the health care needs of the people in the communities they serve. Students enrolled in Nursing will have excellent clinical experiences at various area hospitals, long term care facilities and other healthcare facilities in Plymouth, Rochester, Winamac, Knox, South Bend, LaPorte, and others.
The following courses must be completed prior to acceptance into the nursing program: BIOL 252 Human Anatomy & Physiology II (4 credit horus), BIOL 270 Microbiology (4 credit hours), ENGL 110 Writing I (3 credit hours), and FYE 101 Freshman Seminar (2 credit hours).
