Qualifications of Instructors:
Instructor has 35 years experience in education ranging from elementary school though college. He has also been teaching this course for the past three years through the Department of Corrections.
Program Description:
Students will discuss the many career opportunities offered in the hospitality industry. This will be accomplished by providing training for hospitality positions in therooms division, food and beverage divisions of a lodging operation, including front desk, reservations, housekeeping, bell services, restaurant services, banquetoperations, and more.

Includes instruction in principles of operations in the travel and tourism, hotel and lodging facilities, food services, and recreation facilities industries; hospitality marketing strategies; hospitality planning; management and coordination of franchise and unit operations; business management; accounting and financial management; hospitality transportation and logistics; and hospitality industry policies and regulations.
