Minimum credentials include Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with Master's Degree in Nursing required within 5 years of employment. PhD in Nursing is highly recommended.
A program that generally prepares individuals in the knowledge, techniques and procedures for promoting health, providing care for sick, disabled, informed, or other individuals or groups. Includes instruction in the administration of medication and treatments, assisting a physician during treatments and examinations, Referring patients to physicians and other health care specialists, and planning education for health maintenance. All students graduate with a bachelor's degree awarded by affiliate college the University of Saint Francis while simultaneously receiving a diploma in Registered Nursing from St. Elizabeth.
Admisson requirements:High School Graduate or equivalent,Minimum of 1 year of high school Algebra, Biology, Chemistry, 4 years of English with grades of C or better,If high school graduate within last 3 years, 920 minimum on SAT math and verbal or 19 ACT. Admissions TEAS test with Proficient or higher level unless student meets one of the TEAS exemptions.
Rolling admissions, no set deadline. However, classes are filling up faster and faster so student should plan to apply several months prior to the term they wish to start.
