Program Description:
Program is one evening class, 3 hours of online homework and on-the-job learning hours. This provides the student the ability to work full time in the Construction Trade as an apprentice to collect their on the job learn hours. Our apprenticeship program which also provides credits for an Associate Degree from Vincennes University. Your 1st year you will also earn First Year Certifications will include OSHA 10; CPR/1st Aid; Lock Out/Tag Out; Fall Protection and 3 types of Lifts. A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to install, operate, maintain, and repair electric apparatus and systems such as residential, commercial, and industrial electric-power wiring; and DC and AC motors, controls, and electrical distribution panels. Includes instruction in the principles of electronics and electrical systems, wiring, power transmission, safety, industrial and household appliances, job estimation, electrical testing and inspection, and applicable codes and standards.
