A program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to install, operate, maintain, and repair electric grinder and pump and systems such as residential, commercial, and industrial electric-power wiring. Consists of familiarization with AC single phase and three phase motors, controls, and electrical panels. Includes instruction in the principles of electronics and electrical systems, wiring, troubleshooting, safety, panel planing, electrical testing and inspection, and applicable codes and standards.This is a preferred course for those electricians, plumbers currently in the field who are required to diagnose and trouble shoot grinder systems. Basis instruction would include pump types, sump pumps centrifugal, vortex and other applications to remove waste products. There is no exposure to actual waste or contamination during this lecture and lab setting. Some pump terms involved TDHP pump head, PSI and other general terms.Applicant need not to have journeyman status to take this class.Great course for familiarization and application immediately following class.
