Program Description:
This program prepares individuals to fulfill the requirements set by vendors for professional qualification as certified installation, customization, and maintenance engineers for specific software products and/or processes. Includes training in specific vendor-supported software products and their installation and maintenance.The coursework is an online program with regulated modules and performance reviews. Students have a set amount of time to complete coursework, however this is an independent study program. All students are required to enroll WIN career readiness program for soft skills and employability training. his course will prepare you for CompTIA A+ certification. You can earn this certification after you pass two exams. The CompTIA A+ Certification Exam 220-1001, covers mobile devices, networking technology, hardware, virtualization and cloud computing and network troubleshooting. The CompTIA A+ Certification Exam 220-1002 covers installing and configuring operating systems, expanded security, software troubleshooting, and operational procedures. CompTIA™ A+ Certification is vendor neutral and internationally recognized, giving you a competitive advantage no matter what country youre working in and what hardware youre working with.

WIN Career module completion and assessment passed.RequirementsRequirements:Hardware Requirements: This course can be taken on either a PC or Mac. Mac users are encouraged to have access to a Windows environment on their device.Software Requirements: PC: Windows 8 or later. Mac: macOS 10.6 or later. Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible. Adobe Acrobat Reader. Software must be installed and fully operational before the course begins.Other: Email capabilities and access to a personal email account. CompTIA recommends all A+ exam applicants having up to 12 months of hands-on experience in the lab or field before taking the certification exam. Additionally, you should have basic knowledge of computer hardware and operating systemsfor example, how to power up and log on to a machine, how to use a mouse and keyboard, and basic Microsoft Windows navigation skills. This course is for you if youre interested in pursuing a career in information technology, specifically related to PC technology. This course will prepare you obtain a CompTIA A+ Certification designation.
