At TAT we train you to obtain more than your CDL, which means you have passed the minimum skills and knowledge tests concerning the type of equipment you will be operating. We train you on everything you need to know to become a Professional CDL A Driver.Our CDL training is based off industry standards and the CDL A test. The full-time Class A driver training program includes a week of classroom instruction, hands-on, and behind-the-wheel training. Classroom, field, and road training are completed at the school training grounds and on actual roadways.

A commercial driver's license or instruction permit shall not be issued to a person while the person is subject to a disqualification from driving a commercial motor vehicle or while the person's driver's license or driving privilege is suspended, revoked, or cancelled in any state or jurisdiction. Our admissions will go over a questionairre with you and advise you on any impediments to employment before attending.
Applications are accepted year round
Some grants (VA Post 911, WIOA, Vocational Rehabilitation, VA Vocational Rehabilitation, VRRAP, KY Farmworkers, NAET (Native American Educational Assistance). Not everybody is available for these grants and some of the grants only have funding available off and on. Our admissions department will help you with this. FASFA and Pell grants do not work for this type of school.Financing available for those who qualify
