All program faculty are required to complete the course prior to instructing. Additionally, all instructors have passed the Indiana CCHW certification test. They are then required to attend the CHW train the trainer class and have passed the CCHW the trainer the trainer test. All instructors have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.

Eligibility Criteria: Must be at least 18 years old.Must have at least a high school diploma or GED. Students must have a personal email address (a computer and internet access is required).
The course is online, so there is no application deadline.
This program is also supported by three HRSA grants for qualifying students. Students must be DMHA CCHWs in good standing.
