Qualifications of Instructors:

All program faculty have a minimum of a Bachelors degree and must have completed the Community Health Worker certification as well as this Opioid Impated Family Support certification.

Program Description:

With the addition of an Opioid Impacted Family Support designation. students will better understand the specific needs of providing services to children whose parents are impacted by opioid use disorders (OUD)and other substance use disorders (SUD), and their family members who are in guardianship roles.

Includes instruction in public and community health, human and social services, health services administration, group counseling, health education, group advocacy, cross-cultural and multilingual communication, and applicable laws and policies.
