CompTIA A+ is the industry standard for establishing a career pathway in Information Technology (IT). It is an entry-level computer certification for computer service technicians. Earning A+ certification demonstrates that students possess the skills necessary to support enterprise IT infrastructures. Upon completing this course, students will gain the essential skills, technical expertise and foundational knowledge of todays most relevant technologies, so that they confidently conduct the tasks necessary to install, upgrade, configure, troubleshoot, optimize, repair and perform preventative maintenance on computer hardware and operating system. The CompTIA A+ Core Series requires candidates to pass two exams: Core 1 (220-1101) and Core 2 (220-1102).
