A program that prepares individuals to perform routine nursing-related services (ADL's)to residents. At the end of the program they should be able to function to take care of residents day to day needs like toileting, dressing, feeding bathing ect. We train them with a combination of classroom and labs hours followed by 5 full days of on hands clinical training. We follow this with any needed remedial testing and a review day for labs in order to get them ready for their state testing. They are then ready to work the floor after they have received this comprehensive training.
We do TB, physical, backgroung and drug testing.and covid testing. We also require a vaccine or we accept exemptions if they have them. We do this as we are doing our clinicals in a long term care facility that requires them.
Two weeks prior to class starting.
