Program Description:
Our Certified Nursing Assistant Program consists of a miminum requirement of 30 hours of Classroom instruction. During this classroom session we will be reviewing the required manuals from the Indiana State Department of Health. There will also be some demonstration from the instructor to review the required 72 Resident Care Procedures. Upon completing the classroom session the students will complete the required 75 hours of clinical time. As part of the enhanced program the student will completeSoft Skills Training through Unlocking Your True Potential and complete a medical terminology program.Once the above has been completed the student will attend a mandatory 6 hour review session and sit for their state exam.

Prerequisites Description:
Navy blue scrubs. Students needs to be at least 16 years old, must be able to read English, write, add and subtract. Must pass a state wide criminal back ground check. And, they must have no physical limitations that can prevent them from performing as a certified nursing assistant. PLEASE NOTE: the cost of the State testing fee, TB and Physical Examination are included under Misc. cost listed below. Admission fee is part of registration process and administrative duties. Lab fees are part of the extensive review and preparation for the ISDH written and skills competence exam.
