Qualifications of Instructors:

The instructor is an MSSC authorized instructor and will possess the credentials earned in the training program as well as five (5) years of work experience in the field.

Program Description:

The Certified Logistics Associate 4.0 (foundational) (CLA) and Certified Logistics Technician 4.0 (mid-level technical) (CLT) courses prepare individuals for front-line material handling and supply chain logistics jobs in fulfillment centers, warehouses, distribution centers, and factories. The program is instructor led and utilizes online learning giving students the benefits of 24/7 access. The content supports the emerging industry 4.0 technologies that include artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality, autonomous robots, biometrics, cybersecurity, data analytics, 5G technology, industrial Internet of things (IIOT) and remote learning. Students may opt for a 100% online format where the instructor and student join the class online. Successful students will earn two nationally recognized certifications - validated and developed in conjunction with industry professionals - proving to prospective employers that they have the skills and abilities to perform the job effectively. The Certified Logistics Associate and Certified Logistics Technician credentials crosswalk to three academic credits when enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College. The length of the program may vary depending on students' experience and scheduling options.

52.0203 Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management A program that prepares individuals to manage and coordinate all logistical functions in an enterprise, ranging from acquisitions to receiving and handling, through internal allocation of resources to operations units, to the handling and delivery of output. Includes instruction in acquisitions and purchasing, inventory control, storage and handling, just-in-time manufacturing, logistics planning, shipping and delivery management, transportation, quality control, resource estimation and allocation, and budgeting.

Bronze National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) preferred or 10th grade reading and 8th grade math.
