At least 5 years experience in the field of customer service or call center setting and some teaching experience.
The first portion of the course on customer service is 30 hours and covers: communication, knowing your customer, telephone customer service, time management strategies, and internet customer service. The second portion of the course is 46 hours on Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel. Students in the course gain the oppotunity to earn a certification in customer service through International Business Training Association and the Internet and Computing Certification through Certiport.
