Instructors for this program hold, at minimum, a high school diploma and are certified in the content taught.
Program Description:
SecurityWorks is a live virtual boot camp that trains students for roles in the cybersecurity space, such as Security Administrator, Systems Administrator, Helpdesk Manager, Network / Cloud Engineer, and more. Although the schedule is available in several options, the course is intended as a part-time (9 hours per week), evening course to accommodate those who may already be working. Outside of their live training, students participate in one-on-one tutoring, study groups, self-paced interactive learning, practice exams, and more. CompTIA Security+ is selected by more corporations and defense organizations than any other certification on the market to validate baseline security skills. Students will access their training sessions and learning material through a custom-built virtual platform that uses single sign-on functionality and a wide range of learning resources, tools, communication channels, and other class features. Students will take the certification exams during the program and may be eligible for exam retakes should they need an additional attempt. Skills and Competencies Taught Include: Assessing the security posture of an enterprise environment and recommend and implement appropriate security solutions; Monitoring and securinghybrid environments, including cloud, mobile, and IoT; Operatingwith an awareness of applicable laws and policies, including principles of governance, risk, and compliance; Identifying, analyzing, and respondingto security events and incidents
