The program is supervised by qualified entrepernuers, products designers, and educators who have at least 5 years of experience. However, the real core of the course is the hands on interaction between experts and learners each week in an honest, creative, studio environment. This is a unique opportunity in Indiana facilitated by Eleven Fifty Academy and Next Studios normally only available to college students in their final year of college.
The Eleven Fifty Academy Entrepreneurship course is a Skill Up course for the most capable students who want to profoundly impact their career and the Indiana tech community. This course is 9 weeks long including final pitches and graduation, designed to take 15-20 hours per week, and is intended to teach the additional technology and business skills required to prepare a startup founder or co-founder. Although this course is technology startup focused, the skills are fully transferable to numerous career ventures such as intrepreneurship, divisions, products, and other technology related needs. This course is presented as a partnership in combination with Next Studios and our community partners.
For admission to the Eleven Fifty Academy Entrepreneurship course in partnership with Next Studios, the student must submit either a 1-page summary of an idea they have for a company OR a 1-page summary about why they want to be part of founding an enterprise. The contents, organization, and presentation of the document are completely up to the applicant. Creativity is encouraged whether that is in writing or other creative design.
Application deadlines are 2 weeks before each published course date.
